Guatemala La Morena Cubulco

Our favorite Guatemala micro-lot is back and better than ever from La Morena Cubulco! This year the coffee presents that same decadent, smooth, dessert-like body with notes of milk chocolate, praline, granola, and green apple acidity.

This coffee is roasted at full-medium to bring out more of that buttery praline note that will start singing about 5 days after roast. You can expect this to play well with batch brews, espresso (which actually pulls a hint of cherry), Aeropress, and French Press. Honestly, you could probably pull a bit more acidity out of it with a good pourover when ground coarse enough.

This micro-lot is quickly becoming our most popular coffee and we are doing our best to secure bags throughout the year to keep up with demand.
